What We Do

Sports and recreational activities are essential for healthy childhood development, promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and self-esteem. However, youth sports injuries remain a significant concern—millions of children experience injuries each year, some of which can have lasting effects if left untreated or misunderstood. Many of these injuries are preventable through education, proper technique, and awareness.

Protected Play addresses this critical need by providing age-appropriate, peer-led education designed to engage children directly. Our program bridges the gap between children and adults by empowering slightly older peers to serve as mentors, delivering injury prevention strategies in a relatable, engaging way.

How It Works

Our Vision

We envision a future where all youth sports environments prioritize safety without sacrificing fun or competition. By cultivating knowledge and proactive habits early, Protected Play aims to reduce injury rates, improve recovery outcomes, and contribute to the overall well-being of young athletes and their communities.
